President: Mike Darnell Mike took over the role of President from Gary Taylor in 2008. He is also the critique meister and runs the monthly critique sessions. keeping the music flowing and eliciting critique comments from the members. Mike is a member of the local band The Big Lizard Boys.
Director(Treasurer): Pat Bishop Pat took on the role as treasurer in June 2008. Pat is a wonderful lyric writer and has collaborated with many members on her songs.
Director(Web Master): Tony Ryan Tony has been Web Master for Houston Songwriters for three years. He looks after the updating of the site and also shoots the videos at the monthly meetings. Tony is the bass player in the KatRose Band.
Newsletter Team: Ron Tintner & Bill Aspinwall Ron and Bill write and edit the Houston Songwriters newsletter. They brings us news and in depth interviews with local and national songwriters. Ron is a frequent collaborator with many songwriters. Bill is a member the local band The Big Lizard Boys.
