Songwriters on the Road

The HSA will be sharing the joy of songwriting by giving free performances in the retirement community.
We will be doing one hour shows with 3-4 HSA members. If you would like to be a part of this project please contact us.

Saylor White	We once again had a great turnout for the February meeting held at J.P. Hops House. We would like to thank Saylor White for presenting a mini workshop to the members. We had over 30 people attending and 15 songs were presented for critiques. The next meeting will be Sunday 14th March, we start to gather at 1:30 and the meeting starts at 2:00pm.
Songwriting Competitions Two of the oldest and most respected songwriting competitions are now accepting entries for 2010. Deadline for entries is early March, click on the links below for more information and to visit their websites.

MEMBER CD PROJECTS Several HSA members completed CD projects in 2009. Member Lloyd Daniel engineered and co-produced two of those projects. Hats off to all! Many of the songs on these projects originated at an HSA meeting and evolved into a final produced product. It’s gratifying to see and hear the results. Click on the CD to find out more.
